Step 1. Download your Software
Run the installer program. In the process of installation it will ask for your SIP account information; please input your User ID and Password in the appropriate fields.
Step 2. Configure the dialer
In order to configure and use with our service any of those Softphones you need:
- User ID/PIN
- Password
- SIP Proxy Server IP: gatecontrol.net
- SIP Port: 5060
(this information will be provided when you sign up)
Open the Dialer and click on “Settings”, then go to “Network”. Change the following fields:
Local RTP Ports – change from 8000 to 5004
Uncheck the Use STUN option
Click on the button OK
Close the Dialer and start it again.
Step 3. Start calling
Once installed you should dial directly the country code following by the city code and phone number, example: To call USA please dial 1xxxxxxx, not 001xxxxxxx
In case you are experiencing audio problems or low calls quality please configure it further after installation:
In case you are experiencing connection problems please make sure your firewall or router allows the Dialer to connect to our servers. You should open UDP/TCP Ports range 5060 to 5080 in your firewall or router in order to be able to connect and make calls!
The Dialer is capable of recording all your conversations so that you could listen to them anytime you wish. To activate recording just click on the red “Record” button on its interface before calling the number. By default the folder with audio files (recorded conversations) is stored at: My Documents\Talk
However, you can change the place where the files are stored if you wish.

We have tested the following Softphones and all of them work fine with our service:
Web CallBack
Simply input your PIN / User ID and Password in the fields of the form followed by the phone number where you wish to receive the call and the number you wish to connect to - country code following by the city code and phone number.
Then click on the “Dial” button and our system will connect both numbers. You can even choose when our system should make the call – immediately, in 1, 3 or 5 minutes!
The first phone will ring and should be answered. The second call will then be initiated. Both parties should hang up the phone to terminate each call. Remember that each call is billed separately!
With Web Callback there is no software to download and no devices to configure – it’s accessible via web browser from any Internet connected PC in the world.
Callback via WAP-enabled Device
Our Callback service is also available for users with WAP-enabled devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, etc. All you have to do is point your mobile phone or PDA WAP browser to our Web Callback page at: http://voipcontrol.net/callback/ input your PIN and Password in the fields of the form followed by the phone number where you wish to receive the call and the number you wish to connect to. Then click on the “Dial” button and our system will connect both numbers. You can even choose when our system should make the call – immediately, in 1, 3 or 5 minutes!
